Basically in all businesses where medium to large amounts of cash are collected and given as change. Our existing customers are traditional retailers (food / non-food), but also hotels, restaurants and transportation companies.
An HCC can already make sense for a business with a single point of sale; it does not necessarily have to be a chain of stores. The greatest benefit arises in the back office of the individual sales outlets, where the main cash register work is automated and personnel resources can be saved or deployed at the front. The sales reports generated by the HCC can be further processed as csv files for small businesses; for customers with more than approx. 10 HCCs, it is worth connecting them to the POS system.
The deposited cash sales are temporarily stored in containers and are available for the payment of change at the store tills. The coins and notes remain in the HCC and are reused (recycled). Only surplus money is fed into separate overflow containers for notes and coins. The recycling function means that the system is virtually self-sufficient and therefore money needs to be replenished as rarely as possible.
The money in the overflow containers (banknote safe bag and coin box) can be removed by the company's own staff or by employees of a cash-in-transit company and processed for crediting to the bank account. Depending on the fill level, the storage modules are simultaneously refilled with the required coin and note denominations.
